Electrical Superintendent - Solar & BESS

About the role

An experienced Electrical Superintendent is sought to oversee electrical construction on a large-scale renewable energy project. You will lead site teams and subcontractors so that works are delivered safely, on schedule and in line with project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction crews, subcontractors and self-perform teams.
• Oversee installation of solar electrical systems, BESS, HV infrastructure, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cabling and earthing.
• Coordinate daily work plans, labour, materials and construction schedules.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, project specifications and relevant standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and manage quality inspections.
• Support testing, commissioning, energisation and project handover.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent on major construction or renewable energy projects.
• Current electrical licence relevant to the role and project jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated experience across utility-scale solar, BESS and high-voltage (HV) infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing self-perform electrical crews alongside subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
