Site Engineer – Civil & Utilities (Client Side) – Immediate Start

About the role

Join a leading infrastructure organisation as a Site Engineer on a high‑profile civil and utilities project. The role is client‑side, based in Mudgee with a 2:1 (14 days on/7 days off) DIDO roster, and starts as soon as possible on a 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee greenfield construction activities including roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks and related civil works.
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, policies, codes of practice, QA and HSE requirements.
• Manage project planning, stakeholder relationships, cost control and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and contract administration.
• Coordinate with contractors, regulators and internal teams to deliver project milestones.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field.
• 2‑4+ years experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, policies and codes of practice.
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks and ensure contractual compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.
