Shutdown Fitter - Olympic Dam, Carrapateena & Prom Hill

About the role

A client is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to register for ongoing shutdown work across Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prom Hill. The role is hands-on, covering maintenance, repairs and mechanical fitting tasks to ensure safe and efficient shutdowns. The calendar of works is growing, with opportunities available for the rest of the year and into 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and mechanical fitting tasks during shutdowns
• Work safely and efficiently across a variety of industrial sites

Required profile

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• Construction induction white card
• Confined space, working at heights and gas test atmospheres certifications (highly regarded)
• Current high risk work licence (highly regarded)
• Previous shutdown, mining, maintenance or industrial experience (highly regarded)
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and provide a police clearance report
• Australian working rights

What we offer

• $58-$65 per hour on day shift, $65-$70 per hour on night shift
