Shift Refinery Maintainer – Electrical (4/4 Roster)

About the role

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Shift Refinery Maintainer – Electrical is responsible for safe, efficient and cost‑effective electrical maintenance across the copper refining operation. The role offers exposure to a wide range of electrical and instrumentation tasks in a complex industrial environment, supporting reliable production and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance activities to meet maintenance and production KPIs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response and corrective repairs.
• Execute electrical installation and project work on refinery assets.
• Maintain compliance with electrical statutory requirements and site safety standards.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified Electrician with experience in a safety‑critical industrial setting.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and comfortable working rotating day and night shifts.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute positively to team performance and operational reliability while developing technical capability.
