Senior Project Manager – Mining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading Australian mining company on a permanent basis. You will deliver complex project work across a large‑scale, multi‑site operational environment and take ownership of project delivery in a high‑stakes setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop and own project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Coordinate across technical, operational, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide regular reporting and status updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery aligns with broader business and operational objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Project Management, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex projects, ideally within the mining sector.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AIPM).
• Experience working in asset‑heavy or complex operational environments.
• Background within a corporate environment.
