Sheetmetal Worker - Gladstone

About the role

AESTEC Services, a provider of civil construction and maintenance services for major industrial clients in Gladstone, is looking for an experienced Sheetmetal Worker for a residential position in Gladstone, Queensland. Applicants must be local or willing to relocate, as FIFO/DIDO arrangements are not available.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal) or an equivalent recognised trade qualification.
• Previous experience as a Sheetmetal Worker in a maintenance and/or shutdown environment.
• Current driver's licence and basic hand tools for the trade.
• Positive attitude towards personal and team safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a motivated team.

Highly regarded

• Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) tickets.
• Construction industry White Card.
• QAL, BSL or RTAY Blue Medipass (three-site), or willingness to obtain one.
• High risk work licences such as EWP and forklift.
