About the role

Downer Energy & Utilities is recruiting Graduate Engineers for its 2027 Graduate Program in Gladstone, Queensland. Graduates will gain hands-on experience supporting infrastructure and utilities projects in a local project and operational environment, working alongside experienced industry professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering completed in 2025 or due for completion by the end of 2026
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
• Current driver's licence and availability to start in February 2027
• Based in, or able to independently relocate to, the Gladstone region
• Willingness to learn, strong communication and relationship-building skills, excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Collaborative, proactive and self-motivated attitude
