SharePoint Web/Intranet Officer

About the role

Troocoo is recruiting two temporary SharePoint Web/Intranet Officers (ref. 1766823) for a 2-week contract starting ASAP, running until 31 May 2027. The work is based in the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane with hybrid working from home. You will join an intranet upgrade project for a Queensland State Government client, moving the current Classic SharePoint intranet to a new Modern SharePoint environment.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate and rebuild the intranet from a Classic SharePoint environment (pages and documents/assets) to a new Modern SharePoint environment with a revised information architecture.
• Work with a Digital/UX Project Officer and the broader Online team.
• Transfer content and pages to the new environment, updating links and setting up redirects.
• Check pages and modules for consistency and accessibility, and add correct metadata.
• Add metadata and tagging to documents and pages to improve search filters and findability.

Required profile

• Working knowledge and experience in SharePoint Modern, and knowledge of SharePoint Classic for building and maintaining pages and managing intranet sites.
• Experience on large intranet or website redevelopment projects.
• Ability to project manage your own work and maintain tracking and reporting project artefacts.
• Ability to flag technical, timing or project issues early and report them to the Digital/UX Project Officer and Executive Manager Online.
