ServiceNow Developer

About the role

TechBubble, an IT consultancy, is recruiting a ServiceNow Developer for its client's consulting team, which will deploy with a leading Telecommunications client on a key transformation engagement. The role administers and configures an enterprise-scale ServiceNow platform, keeping it stable, scalable and aligned with government regulatory requirements. It is based in Perth on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and custom scripts, and ensure the platform integrates with other internal systems.
• Analyse business and customer requirements to design technical solutions.
• Take part in all stages of product development: analysis, design, testing, integration and implementation.
• Produce design specifications and parameters that meet organisational standards, audit requirements and architectural blueprints.
• Research and incorporate new technology and tools, and troubleshoot with other IT teams.
• May help write user manuals, requirements and testing plans.

Required profile

• Applicants must be based in Perth; the position is open to Perth only.
• Hybrid working, with 2-3 days in the office depending on the city.
• Initial 6-month contract, with a view to extension.

Required skills

• JavaScript fundamentals: data types, variables, functions and object-oriented programming.
• Common services data model, database structure, SQL and related database technologies.
• Web development tools: HTML, CSS and AngularJS.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles such as incident, problem, change and release management.
