ServiceNow Developer - Contract (6 months)

About the role

This is a 6-month contract for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to take ownership of a newly implemented ServiceNow ITSM environment. Working in a standalone capacity, you will support the stability of the platform while delivering ongoing development, enhancements and improvements. The role is hands-on, covering development, configuration, scripting, workflows, integrations and troubleshooting, and involves close collaboration with stakeholders and an external ServiceNow provider where needed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and enhance the ServiceNow ITSM environment
• Develop and maintain scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, workflows and integrations
• Build and enhance workflows using Flow Designer
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and platform issues
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify appropriate solutions
• Deliver ongoing ServiceNow enhancements and improvements
• Support the stability, performance and quality of the platform
• Work with stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to platform standards so development remains maintainable

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow Developer
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems
• Confidence in troubleshooting platform issues and defects
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders and external partners
