Senior Project Manager - Technology and Innovation

About the role

Frankston City Council's Technology and Innovation Department is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic technology and organisation improvement initiatives. The role sits within the council's leadership team, which aims to build an engaged, collaborative and future-focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, governance artefacts, risk registers and implementation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate project resources, stakeholders and vendors so that projects are delivered effectively and sustainably.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of the council's project delivery, business analysis and governance practices.

Required profile

• Understanding of project governance, procurement, risk management and change management principles.
• Understanding of contemporary technology environments and digital service delivery.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
• Strong business analysis and process improvement capability.

• Band 7A position currently remunerated at $111,878.12 per annum plus superannuation; overtime paid as required.
