Service Technician – General

About the role

As a Service Technician – General you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and testing a range of healthcare equipment for our clients in Mackay and surrounding areas. You will work closely with our CASE representatives to assemble, deliver, set‑up and troubleshoot new and existing equipment, ensuring reliable performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and conduct routine servicing of medical devices with a high level of technical skill.
• Prepare clear, accurate service records and documentation after each visit.
• Maintain the service vehicle, mobile tools and inventory to ensure readiness for field work.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product features and new releases to provide seamless support.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and company safety policies.

Required profile

• Background as a Mechanical or Service Technician, preferably within the healthcare or related service sector.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and professional service delivery.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and handle administrative tasks.
• Current, valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
