Service Technician – Fixed Site (Melbourne)

About the role

Join a financially stable brand and work on a wide range of material handling equipment at our Melbourne branch. You will perform breakdown repairs, routine maintenance, and preventative service on customer units while supporting a close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs, breakdown fixes and scheduled maintenance on all types of material handling equipment.
• Provide timely, professional service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain accurate job sheets, timesheets and related administrative records.
• Adhere to safety procedures, statutory requirements and licensing obligations.

Required profile

• Current driver’s licence.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
• Strong work ethic, self‑motivation and good time‑management skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and product knowledge programs.
