About the role
Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) is looking for experienced Service Technicians to join its busy Horningsea Park team. The role suits diesel fitters, mobile plant technicians and heavy vehicle mechanics who enjoy mechanical challenges, diagnosing faults and keeping machines performing well. It is open to candidates ready to start now or planning their next move for 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair construction and earthmoving equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Complete machine inspections and pre-delivery preparations
- Carry out repairs to manufacturer standards
- Complete service reports, job cards and maintenance records
- Work closely with the workshop team to keep jobs moving
- Follow safety, quality and company procedures
- Help minimise downtime so customer equipment performs at its best
Required profile
- Ideally a trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar
- Experience with earthmoving, construction, mining or mobile plant equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
