Service Planning and Disruptions Officer

About the role

Play a key role in ensuring public transport services continue to operate effectively during both planned and unplanned disruptions across the Transperth network. You will work within the Services Development team, collaborating with internal teams, bus contractors, government agencies and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating disruption responses, special events, rail replacement services and service reviews.
• Research and analyse transport trends, passenger surveys and service data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders to minimise disruption impacts on passengers.

Required profile

• Experience managing contracts, service providers or operational service delivery, preferably in public transport or related sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of interpreting data and providing practical recommendations.

Required skills

• Experience delivering customer‑focused information services during service changes or disruptions.
• Understanding of urban and regional planning principles and the role of transport services.
