Demand Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join Simplot’s Mentone office on a permanent full‑time basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager Demand Planning – APAC, you will own the end‑to‑end forecasting process and work closely with commercial and supply‑chain teams to drive better business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Experience and Finance to create a single, aligned view of demand.
• Translate promotional activity, commercial initiatives and customer insights into actionable demand plans.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify risks and opportunities, and use data‑driven insights to improve accuracy and reduce bias.
• Provide recommendations and scenario analysis to support business planning and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply‑chain planning.
• Strong analytical capability with a collaborative approach and ability to influence decisions through data and insight.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, manufacturing or a similarly fast‑paced environment is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Experience with demand planning systems such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Blueshift or Logility.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including statistical forecasting methodologies.
