Service & Maintenance Administrator

About the role

Randstad is recruiting, on behalf of a partner company that is a market leader in advanced infrastructure, industrial piping and precision fluid systems, for a Service & Maintenance Administrator. The role sits in a modern technical services workshop and administration facility, working directly with the Service Supervisor to keep workshop operations and equipment servicing running smoothly. It is a temporary, full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Process end-to-end service documentation, work orders and equipment repair logs from intake to dispatch.
• Enter and track technical job data, maintenance records and service sheets in SAP.
• Process goods receipts for incoming service units and replacement tooling, matching delivery dockets against purchase orders.
• Assist with billing allocations for service jobs, tracking parts and labour accurately.
• Liaise between technicians, warehouse teams and courier services to coordinate equipment freight and parts turnaround times.
• Maintain safety and WHS compliance in the workshop and office.

Required profile

• Prior experience in service coordination, workshop administration or maintenance support, ideally in manufacturing, industrial equipment or technical services.
• High attention to detail when handling equipment serial numbers, job logs and numeric data.
• Professional, personable communication with workshop technicians, freight couriers and management.
• Willingness to follow site protocols and wear standard PPE (hi-vis, long pants and steel-cap boots) in operational areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency using SAP for work orders and job tracking (essential).

What we offer

• Start immediately at $38.89 per hour plus superannuation, with a clear pathway to a permanent position of $70,000 plus super.
• Monday to Friday hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends free.
