Service Desk Analyst – Technical Support Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst (Technical Support Administrator) to join our Level 2 Service Desk within the Digital Modernisation Division. You will work in a complex, multi‑vendor environment, providing advanced technical support and ensuring the stability of our storage and infrastructure services.

Key responsibilities

• Accept and resolve tickets escalated from the Level 1 Service Desk.
• Monitor and administer storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, block and file storage.
• Oversee storage fabric, software‑defined networking, routing/switching and hyper‑converged infrastructure.
• Detect and resolve application processing incidents.
• Diagnose and fix operating system issues across Windows, Unix and Linux platforms.
• Participate in 24/7 shift work as part of a Security Operations Centre (SOC) to provide continuous coverage.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of IT delivery experience in a service‑desk or support role.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems.
• Adaptable to dynamic environments and new technology requirements.
• Australian citizenship with a current baseline security clearance.
