Service Desk Analyst

About the role

This role installs and maintains operating systems, applications, servers, virtualization, network devices and backup systems to ensure stable performance. It works within a division of IDEMIA, following its technology strategy and governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to day-to-day business needs according to priorities
• Troubleshoot issues by discussing with users and coordinating with internal support and operations groups and vendors
• Acquire, install and upgrade IT components, licensing and software, and manage inventory
• Follow governance models such as change management, root cause analysis and documentation
• Create and maintain activity documentation and support division safety, security and regulatory standards
• Plan service availability, including redundancy, backup implementation and on-call duty
• Perform simple daily administration and networking tasks, supporting complex ones, and run patching
• Work under the guidance of a more experienced team member

• Stays up to date on information technology and aligns it with the division's technology strategy
