Servery Staff

About the role

Anglicare Sydney is looking for a Servery Staff member to prepare and serve meals for residents in line with their dietary requirements, food safety standards and Anglicare procedures. The role creates a positive mealtime experience that supports residents' health, dignity and emotional wellbeing, working closely with the kitchen and care teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve meals to residents
• Follow individual dietary, texture and meal requirements
• Check food temperature, presentation and serving standards
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen, dining and storage areas
• Welcome residents warmly and report relevant changes to the supervisor

Required profile

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a food service, kitchen or hospitality environment
• Experience preparing, presenting or serving meals
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Preferred: experience in residential aged care, food handling certificate or equivalent food safety training, and experience supporting dietary, allergen or texture-modified meal requirements

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Attention to detail following dietary requirements
• Empathy and respectful interaction with elderly residents
