SEO Specialist

About the role

The SEO Specialist will join SoudCoh’s Melbourne office to plan and execute SEO strategies that boost organic visibility, traffic, and qualified leads for client websites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and optimize on‑page elements to improve rankings and organic traffic.
• Perform comprehensive technical and content SEO audits and implement actionable recommendations.
• Manage link‑building initiatives to strengthen domain authority and search visibility.
• Monitor performance using web analytics tools, prepare regular reports, and adjust strategies based on data.
• Collaborate with content, design, and account teams to align SEO efforts with broader marketing objectives.
• Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven ability in keyword research, on‑page optimization, and delivering measurable SEO results.
• Experience conducting full SEO audits and implementing recommendations.
• Practical skills in link building and off‑page SEO.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decision making.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, able to explain SEO concepts to non‑specialists.
• Relevant experience in agency or in‑house marketing environments; degree or certification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or related field is a plus.
