SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Client Service Team in North Sydney. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will design and execute SEO strategies that boost organic visibility, generate leads and support client acquisition for our service‑based business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business and client service goals.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and content gap assessments.
• Optimize website architecture, on‑page elements, meta data and internal linking for maximum visibility.
• Lead technical SEO audits and work with developers to fix crawl errors, improve site speed and mobile usability.
• Manage off‑page SEO activities including link‑building, digital PR and local SEO initiatives.
• Monitor, analyse and report SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar tools.
• Collaborate with the Client Service Team to align SEO work with broader client experience and retention strategies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm changes and industry trends, adapting tactics as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in a service provider, agency or B2B environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and present performance insights to internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz and Screaming Frog.
• Deep knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress and Webflow.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals as they relate to SEO.
