SEO Lead

About the role

We are a Brisbane‑based digital agency seeking an SEO Lead to drive advanced, AI‑focused search strategies. You will own both the strategic direction and hands‑on execution of technical, on‑page and content‑led optimisation to boost organic visibility and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of AI‑driven SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive technical audits, crawl optimisation, indexing, and site architecture reviews.
• Analyse keyword intent, optimise on‑page elements, and guide content strategy for organic growth.
• Collaborate with development, content and digital marketing teams to deliver integrated search solutions.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, performance metrics and produce regular reporting using GA4 and other analytics tools.
• Explore automation tools and emerging technologies to streamline SEO workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of specialised SEO experience covering technical, on‑page and content optimisation.
• Proven ability to develop and execute organic growth strategies in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting data from GA4, Search Console and SEO platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical insights for cross‑functional teams.
