SEO Director

About the role

We are a fast‑growing digital agency based in Surry Hills, looking for an experienced SEO Director to own and expand our organic search offering. You will shape strategy, drive commercial performance and lead a high‑performing team of 15 specialists across SEO, AEO and GEO.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the agency’s SEO, AEO and GEO strategy to deliver client growth and revenue.
• Manage P&L performance, budgeting and commercial forecasting for the SEO practice.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 15 SEO professionals, establishing structures and career pathways.
• Oversee client pitching, service evolution and new business development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to scale the organic search offering while ensuring modern, data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Proven track record leading high‑performing SEO teams within an agency environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing profit and loss.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior clients.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
