SEO Consultant – Sydney

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Consultant to join our Sydney team at OMG, Australia’s largest independent digital marketing agency. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients and external partners to design and execute data‑driven SEO strategies that achieve client goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SEO strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Analyse search performance, run in‑depth audits and lead workshops.
• Support Account Managers in client meetings and quarterly reviews.
• Monitor and optimise search campaigns, making proactive adjustments.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and set up analytics for multi‑channel initiatives.
• Utilise tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, SEMRush and Ahrefs to gather insights.
• Develop content distribution plans that maximise earned and owned media.
• Present innovative recommendations to boost campaign performance.
• Manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver presentation‑ready performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• At least 2‑3 years of digital marketing experience.
• Strong understanding of SEO, integrated marketing and multi‑channel concepts.
• Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
