Senior Valuer - Alternatives

About the role

JLL is hiring a Senior Valuer for its Alternatives team in Sydney, NSW. You will own complex valuation assignments for specialist asset classes such as life sciences, student accommodation, healthcare, aged care and other emerging property sectors, working with institutional investors, developers and corporate occupiers.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a diverse range of valuation assignments across alternative asset classes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Deliver client service by understanding the nuanced requirements of alternative property sectors
• Prepare comprehensive valuation reports with market data, justification and commentary tailored to specialist assets
• Use JLL's technology platforms to produce professional, consistent reports
• Work alongside senior valuers and sector specialists to build expertise in alternative asset valuations
• Delegate and review work done by Assistant Valuers, giving mentorship and feedback
• Contribute to thought leadership and market intelligence on emerging trends in the alternatives sector
• Take part in client prospecting and relationship building, attend JLL events and industry functions, and meet API CPD requirements

Required profile

• CPV-qualified valuer with a strong interest in or experience with alternative and specialist asset classes
• Sharp analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail and confidence navigating complex valuation scenarios
