Senior Tax Consultant

About the role

Join Sigma Healthcare's Tax team within Group Finance to support tax compliance, advisory and statutory reporting across Australian and international obligations. Based in the Preston Support Office, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, external advisers and revenue authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate income tax, GST, FBT and tax transparency reporting obligations.
• Assist with Pillar 2, Country‑by‑Country Reporting and transfer pricing compliance.
• Review Group income tax returns and prepare supporting workpapers.
• Liaise with external advisers, auditors and revenue authorities on audits and information requests.
• Drive tax process improvements through automation and systems support.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• At least five years of tax advisory and compliance experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate complex tax matters into practical solutions.
• High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Dynamics 365 (highly regarded).
