Senior Surveyor

About the role

Woolpert is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join its high‑performing Sydney team. Reporting to the NSW Survey Manager, you will work on large‑scale survey projects across construction, infrastructure and renewables for both government and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex survey projects using terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry and hydrographic techniques.
• Perform field data collection and oversee data processing to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate survey data into design and engineering workflows.
• Maintain safety standards and quality control throughout all project phases.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional surveying experience.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Experience operating Leica surveying instruments.
• Knowledge of terrestrial laser scanning and mobile laser scanning technologies.
• Competence in UAV photogrammetry and hydrographic survey methods.
