Senior Supervisor – Earthworks (Construction Site)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to lead the Earthworks team on the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project in Queensland. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising bulk earthworks across multiple fronts, ensuring safe and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise bulk earthworks activities across several work fronts on a live dam site.
• Manage crews, subcontractors and heavy plant, ensuring productivity and compliance.
• Lead safety initiatives through pre‑starts, toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Collaborate with engineers to plan, sequence and resource daily works.
• Track productivity, costs and site records using tablet‑based systems.

Required profile

• Strong experience supervising earthworks on civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews, plant and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of WHS requirements in high‑risk environments.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and construction programmes.
• Confident communicator capable of leading diverse site teams.
