Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex backend solutions. This hands‑on technical leadership position involves building robust services, solving integration challenges, and mentoring other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture, planning and implementation of multi‑codebase backend solutions using TypeScript.
• Develop, integrate and maintain services, building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs with secure authentication.
• Configure and maintain webhooks, data payload transformations and event‑driven integrations between external systems.
• Establish high standards for code quality, testing, and development practices; participate in code reviews and technical workshops.
• Mentor engineers, guide complex technical challenges and support cloud infrastructure, IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript development skills and solid understanding of test‑driven development.
• Experience building, consuming and troubleshooting REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Practical experience with webhooks, event‑driven integrations and authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, API keys, basic auth, token refresh).
• Proficiency with JSON, XML payloads, data mapping and transformation.
