Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join the team that builds and runs Macquarie Wrap, one of Australia’s largest investment platforms. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of solutions, from design through production support, and help shape the platform’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support scalable Java‑based cloud applications.
• Make architectural decisions and contribute to AI‑enabled engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product, support, architecture and risk teams to deliver resilient, customer‑focused solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineers across the team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience building Java‑based cloud applications using Spring Boot or similar modern stacks.
• Strong understanding of resilient, scalable, loosely coupled systems, including micro‑services architecture.
• Experience applying AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
