Senior Social Media Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to shape and execute social strategies for Australia’s leading theatre and live‑entertainment brands. Working closely with creative and account teams, you will drive audience growth, ticket sales, and brand relevance across fast‑moving platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run high‑level social strategies for shows, focusing on audience expansion and ticket revenue.
• Present strategies to clients as the expert voice, educating them on best practices and authentic digital growth.
• Monitor social trends and platform shifts, offering proactive advice while maintaining creative edge.
• Define creator and influencer partnership visions, ensuring brand alignment and effective reach.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce concise briefs for designers and editors.
• Identify and act on trends that benefit live‑entertainment content, while avoiding irrelevant fads.
• Attend filming days, media calls, and opening nights to capture or direct authentic content.
• Create filming briefs for management and cast, enabling high‑quality behind‑the‑scenes material.
• Analyze campaign data to deliver actionable insights that improve client performance.
• Support new‑business pitches by contributing social perspectives to creative ideas.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator who can simplify complex ideas and inspire clients.
• Passionate about theatre and live shows, able to translate that energy into short‑form video.
• Native‑level familiarity with TikTok, Reels, and YouTube, staying ahead of emerging sounds and formats.
