Senior Social Media Executive

About the role

The Senior Social Media Executive will join Royal Caribbean Group’s Australian Marketing team to drive brand preference, engagement and website traffic across consumer‑focused social platforms. Working closely with the Head of Brand & Strategy and the Senior Manager, Digital, you will shape the social narrative for one of the world’s leading cruise brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own monthly and quarterly content calendars for all consumer‑facing social channels.
• Set and track annual social media KPIs aligned with broader business objectives.
• Research, analyse and act on opportunities to grow brand awareness and community size.
• Lead the creation, rollout and optimisation of organic, paid and influencer campaigns.
• Provide regular competitor insights, performance reporting and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Global Social Team to localise global initiatives and integrate AUNZ channels into the worldwide plan.
• Identify growth opportunities across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience managing social media for consumer brands.
• Proven ability to develop strategic content plans and meet KPI targets.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in qualitative and quantitative reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
