Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Linkly is building a brand‑new internal penetration testing function and needs a senior security engineer to lead it. You will work closely with the Chief Security Officer and engineering teams to ensure cloud‑based products and services are secure by design.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and run Linkly’s internal penetration testing capability across cloud infrastructure, products and services.
• Perform security assessments of new cloud infrastructure changes and provide regular reports.
• Consult with engineering teams to validate design and configuration against security requirements.
• Define security guidelines and baselines for the business and review security design for upcoming initiatives.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a security engineer, penetration tester or security consultant.
• Hands‑on penetration testing experience with clear, concise reporting.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud‑native attack techniques and common misconfigurations.
• Experience developing threat models and guiding engineering teams to reduce risk.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
