Senior Security Architect

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for a Senior Security Architect to collaborate with clients and internal teams on advanced, transformational cybersecurity designs and architectural visions for complex solutions. The role covers multi-technology consulting services spanning application software, infrastructure and related technology components, and involves producing detailed specifications for cloud-based or on-premises cybersecurity components. The position is offered with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to complex cybersecurity solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas, evaluating alternatives for cost, performance and scalability.
• Produce specifications of cloud-based or on-premises cybersecurity components, tiers and interfaces, and prepare technical plans and designs compliant with enterprise and solution architecture standards.
• Understand client requirements, collect data, deliver analysis and provide problem resolution; support change programmes and projects.
• Monitor the external environment for emerging technologies, create solution packs and technology roadmaps, and share knowledge with internal teams and clients.
• Design components using modelling techniques and agreed architectures, standards, patterns and methodology, covering functional and non-functional requirements, including proof of concept (POC).
• Review and improve own designs against specifications, recommend new go-to-market services and contribute knowledge on relevant verticals.
• Work across technical levels and the value chain to deliver integrated solutions, and coach and mentor less experienced Solutions Architects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related field.
• Advanced professional technical, IT or operations experience in large-scale technology services environments (software development, application support, infrastructure support).
• Advanced client engagement and consulting experience, including needs assessment and change management.
• Experience integrating solutions with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards and best practices.
• Experience developing, selling and delivering technical and services solutions, and experience in a similar pre-sales role at a system integrator, including statement of work creation and cost modelling.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, product and delivery, and independent solution leadership.

Required skills

• Enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL and COBIT.
• Multi-vendor service integration and cross-functional software, OS and infrastructure designs.
• Reference architectures and cybersecurity platform deployment knowledge.
• CISSP and/or CISM preferred.
