Senior Salesforce Business Analyst - Billing Transformation

About the role

A large, established organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a billing remediation and transformation initiative focused on improving billing accuracy, operational efficiency, customer experience and financial controls. You will work closely with Salesforce Functional Consultants, developers and business stakeholders to review and validate requirements, confirm scope and identify gaps. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension, ideally starting before Christmas.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate business and functional requirements with Salesforce Functional Consultants and developers
• Identify gaps, clarify business rules and confirm project scope and intended outcomes
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand current processes and requirements
• Develop and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and functional documentation
• Analyse end-to-end billing processes, system integrations and downstream impacts
• Collaborate with technical delivery teams on solution design and implementation
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management and requirements traceability
• Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities for process improvement

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst on complex technology and business transformation projects
• Proven ability to review, challenge and validate requirements, identifying gaps and inconsistencies
• Experience across system integrations and complex technology environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity and deliver within tight timeframes
• Previous exposure to billing, finance, revenue management, membership or customer platforms is highly regarded

Required skills

• Strong hands-on Salesforce experience, including requirements analysis, platform enhancements and working with Functional Consultants and developers
• Business process mapping, requirements elicitation and documentation
• Jira, Confluence and Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
