Senior Resourcing Advisor

About the role

Laing O'Rourke, a global engineering and manufacturing-led construction leader, is looking for a Senior Resourcing Advisor to join its growing national resourcing team in Adelaide. The team is described as fun and supportive and is committed to diversity and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage high-calibre talent through market mapping, networking, referrals and targeted sourcing strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and future workforce needs, creating relationships before vacancies arise.
• Partner with project and business leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop proactive hiring strategies.
• Provide market intelligence and talent insights to influence workforce planning and hiring decisions.
• Strengthen the company's presence in the talent market through authentic candidate engagement and industry networking.
• Drive end-to-end recruitment outcomes, delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences while securing top talent.

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience in talent acquisition or resourcing, managing high-volume recruitment across white-collar roles, ideally in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
• Defence recruitment experience or exposure to security-cleared hiring is highly regarded.
• Experience using a range of recruitment systems, sourcing tools and talent platforms.
• Strong understanding of the local talent market, supported by an established professional network.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
