HR Graduate - Recruitment Support

About the role

ROUSSOS, Adelaide's specialist recruitment partner across construction, architecture, engineering and property, is looking for an ambitious graduate to join its team in an internal support role. The position offers hands-on training, professional development and a pathway into recruitment or talent acquisition, and does not require previous recruitment experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and client records in the applicant tracking system, JobAdder
• Manage recruitment administration, including updating candidate information, recording activity and keeping database integrity
• Support job advertising and recruitment processes so information stays accurate and current
• Communicate with candidates and assist with initial phone screens
• Coordinate and complete reference checks with candidates, referees and industry contacts
• Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team and help with day-to-day operations
• Identify ways to improve administrative processes, maintain data quality and support team efficiency

Required profile

• Recent HR or business graduate, someone finishing their studies, or someone making their first move into recruitment
• Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport and communicate professionally by phone and in writing
• Strong attention to detail and pride in accurate, high-quality work
• Adaptability and organisation to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A growth mindset, willing to learn, seek feedback and take on responsibility over time
