Senior Quality Coordinator

About the role

CoMade is seeking a Senior Quality Coordinator to manage its Quality Management System across corporate and project activities. You will ensure compliance with client, contractual and ISO 9001 requirements throughout the design‑to‑commissioning lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Run the Quality Management System within CoMade’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001 and support HSEQ Manager to maintain certification.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits, support client and certification body audits, and develop quality procedures, templates, and risk registers.
• Prepare Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality registers; review client and contract quality requirements at tender and start‑up.
• Visit project sites regularly for quality surveillance, conduct inductions and occasional international travel for inspections and audits.
• Coordinate design change control, RFIs and as‑built drawings, ensuring superseded documents are withdrawn.
• Act as the primary contact for client quality representatives and contribute quality content to tenders.
• Develop and deliver quality training and inductions for the engineering team.

Required profile

• Trade or Diploma qualification in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation discipline, or a Diploma in Quality Management/Bachelor’s in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA/QC roles within construction, infrastructure, energy or resources projects.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification (Lead Auditor certification highly regarded).
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites, including occasional international travel.
