Senior Psychologist (Intellectual Developmental Disability) - Bundaberg

About the role

Queensland Health is recruiting a Senior Psychologist (Intellectual Developmental Disability) for the Continuing Care Team, Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services at Bundaberg Hospital. The role delivers high-quality, evidence-based psychological clinical services to patients and consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team, and contributes to better psychology services through service development, quality improvement and clinical education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychological clinical services to patients and consumers within an interprofessional team.
• Contribute to quality psychology services and patient care through service development, quality improvement and clinical education.
• Monitor and report on work practices and outcomes, and initiate, plan and evaluate quality and research initiatives.
• Provide supervision and training to less experienced clinicians (HP3), students and Allied Health Assistants.

• Remuneration package of up to $162,378 per year, with salary of $132,690 to $142,317 per year.
