Senior Oncology Hospital Pharmacist

About the role

A private hospital in Bundaberg, Queensland, is looking for a full-time Senior Oncology Hospital Pharmacist. The role covers dispensing accuracy, clinical service delivery (8CPA, DAAs, health clinics) and oncology treatment management. It is advertised by LocumCo Pharmacy Recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately
• Deliver clinical services including 8CPA, DAAs and health clinics
• Manage oncology treatments
• Primary duty is receipting manufactured oncology medications

Required profile

• 3+ years of hospital or oncology pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with less experience from a high-volume clinic or senior role will be considered
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as Clinical Pharmacy is highly desirable
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities

Required skills

• Proficiency with FRED Pharmacy Dispensing Software for PBS prescription claiming
• Experience with CHARM Oncology software is highly regarded, or a similar oncology program (training can be provided)

What we offer

• Full-time position of 76 hours per fortnight
• Start time of 7:30 AM during the working week
