Senior Project Manager – Road Infrastructure

About the role

RoadTek is seeking a Temporary Senior Project Manager to lead high‑value road infrastructure and maintenance programmes across Mackay Operations. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams on projects such as the Gregory Developmental Road upgrade, Clermont–Alpha project and a multi‑year pavement repair programme.
• Manage resources, suppliers and materials to achieve safety, quality, schedule and cost outcomes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure strong governance and compliance with legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
• Build effective partnerships with internal specialists and external contractors, leading procurement activities.

Required profile

• Current, valid Queensland "C" class driver’s licence.
• Successful criminal history screening.
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing as per TMR policy.
• Ability to travel as required across the operational unit and state.
• Desirable: Diploma in Project Management, engineering background and supervisory experience in the civil industry.
