Senior Project Manager – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to lead the delivery of the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant in Perth. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end coordination of M&E systems within a large‑scale water infrastructure project, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of M&E packages.
• Coordinate engineering, design, planning, procurement and construction activities in line with ACCIONA standards.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and resource allocation for M&E works.
• Align civil, structural and M&E disciplines to ensure seamless execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Identify risks proactively, resolve issues, and maintain rigorous project controls.
• Produce accurate documentation, reporting and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience delivering complex infrastructure projects with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage key stakeholder relationships.
• Strong competence in risk identification, issue resolution and project controls.
• Commitment to safety, environmental, quality and commercial performance objectives.
