Senior Project Manager – Marine & Remedial Projects (WA)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale marine and remedial infrastructure projects across Western Australia. You will own the full project lifecycle, from strategy and design through to execution, close‑out and client handover, ensuring safety, quality and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects valued between $5M and $20M.
- Develop and manage project strategies, programmes and critical‑path schedules.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks to ensure safe outcomes.
- Champion a zero‑harm safety culture on all worksites.
- Maintain and grow client relationships, anticipating needs and identifying new opportunities.
- Control commercial performance through cost management and labour efficiency.
- Oversee contracts, claims and commercial risk.
- Mentor and empower project teams and subcontractors.
- Manage procurement, negotiations for labour, materials and services.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation on‑site.
- Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and performance insights.
- Lead project close‑out, ensuring finalisation of deliverables and financials.
Required profile
- Degree in Engineering or Construction; postgraduate qualification in Project Management is highly regarded.
- Minimum 8 years of construction experience, preferably in a project‑manager or leadership role.
- Proven track record delivering medium to large‑scale projects ($5M–$20M).
- Experience in marine, civil or remedial projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations.
- Commercially astute with solid contract and risk‑management experience.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills for client, team and reporting interactions.
