Senior Project Manager - Health Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 62 countries and majority-owned by CBRE Group, is hiring a Senior Project Manager for health projects in Townsville. The role sits within the project management function and involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects and programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage larger multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex projects and programmes
• Build working relationships, solve problems and drive projects to successful completion
• Proactively manage the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations
• Prepare project management plans, programmes, budgets and other key deliverables
• Review project plans, specifications, schedules, cost-saving measures, discrepancies and potential construction problems
• Manage project timelines, risks and reporting
• Handle internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract risk

Required profile

• A recognised degree in a technical field such as engineering, construction management, project management or architecture
• Experience in government, hospital/health, commercial or education projects
• Experience delivering highly complex and technical projects
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong report and bid writing skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a team
