Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer reports to the Engineering Director and leads engineering delivery on process equipment design and build projects valued between USD 5‑35 million. The role requires coordinating technical work, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with customer and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate technical work programmes, preparing design calculations, data sheets and work instructions.
• Review and resolve vendor technical clarifications, generate purchase requisitions and evaluate bids for technical compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, sales, proposals and finance teams to optimise specifications, pricing and delivery.
• Ensure inspection and testing requirements are defined, documented and met throughout design and fabrication.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
• At least 20 years of experience in process equipment or engineered systems, with project experience in gas processing and produced water treatment.
