About the role
Senior Production Engineer within Catalyst Metals' Technical Services team, supporting safe, practical and production‑aligned engineering outcomes at the Plutonic Gold Mine.
Key responsibilities
- Work with Mine Planning to define infrastructure needed for safe and efficient underground mining.
- Provide input into annual capital budgeting and mine scheduling for infrastructure projects.
- Oversee primary and secondary ventilation planning, compliance and project scoping.
- Develop Life‑of‑Mine strategies for power, pumping, IT, mine water and ventilation.
- Mentor project and technical staff and ensure safe work plans for project crews.
Required profile
- Experience in underground mining with practical WA FCMMCC certification.
- Proficiency in Deswik and preferably VentSim.
- Strong analytical, time‑management and communication skills.

- VentSim competency (preferred)
