Senior Pharmacy Leader – Inventory & Procurement

About the role

Join Princess Alexandra Hospital as a senior pharmacy leader responsible for medicines inventory, procurement, dispensing technology and operational excellence. This temporary part‑time position (6 months, 15 hours per fortnight) supports safe, effective and sustainable patient care within one of Queensland’s leading tertiary hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee medicines inventory, procurement, dispensing technology and financial reconciliation.
• Lead pharmacy inventory, procurement and dispensing operations.
• Manage pharmacy administration staff and operational resources.
• Drive service improvement, quality initiatives and change management.
• Provide expert advice on medicines expenditure, procurement and supply.

Required profile

• Experienced pharmacist with strong clinical knowledge.
• Advanced expertise in medicines inventory, procurement and dispensing technology.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership in service improvement, innovation and team management.
