Clinical Nurse – Adult Community Mental Health (Full‑time)

About the role

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with complex mental health needs as a Clinical Nurse with our Adult Community Continuing Care Team North in Woolloongabba. You will provide advanced specialist nursing care, clinical leadership and care coordination within a collaborative community mental health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical assessment, care planning and management of complex patient needs.
• Apply advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Support and coordinate the healthcare team, including delegation, mentoring and clinical leadership.
• Contribute to education, quality improvement, research and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with advanced mental health nursing knowledge, skills and clinical experience.
• Strong assessment, care planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and provide effective clinical leadership.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, education and quality improvement.
• Relevant tertiary nursing qualification and current registration with the NMBA.
