Senior People Experience Business Partner

About the role

IDP, a global provider of international education services, is hiring a Senior People Experience Business Partner in Melbourne, Australia. The role sits in the People Experience team and works closely with senior leadership to shape workforce strategy, organisational structure and employee experience. It is a hybrid position (three days per week on site) on a fixed-term contract of 8-9 months.

Key responsibilities

• Work with senior leaders on workforce planning, organisation design and talent development strategies.
• Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, organisational culture and leadership effectiveness.
• Advise on complex employee relations, performance management and sensitive people matters, with a focus on compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on change and business improvement programs.
• Use people analytics and workforce data to inform decisions and track progress.
• Share best practice with a global community of People Experience professionals.
• Help improve HR processes and tools.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, People Experience Business Partner or in a senior People & Culture role, with a record of influencing senior leaders.
• Proven success leading organisational change, talent management and culture transformation.
• Expertise in employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and leadership development.
• Comfortable in matrixed, global organisations.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with an Oracle HCM implementation, optimisation or transformation.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors or similar enterprise HR systems.
• Insight into global HR operating models and cultural differences.
